The whimsical design for a hairdryer is meant to encourage all ages to pretend that the hair dryer is a jet engine or ray gun.

Controlling the hairdryer

The heat and airflow controls are controlled by a large rotating end cap. The metal talon indicates temperature and fan speed.

Ideation

A rotary control is a novel way to change the speed and the temperature of the hairdryer. This hairdryer has three speed settings in two temperatures. 

Escaping the mundane task of drying hair is easy with a whimsical, toy like form.
